Don't panic

Did anyone catch "Independence Day" just now? Man, i just love that movie. Simply awesome. One of my favourite movies of all time. For those who haven't watch it and i'm sure there are despite the movie being almost 10 years ago, please watch it. Its damn good. Anyways, last weekend flew by like the breeze and by the time i knew it, i am back to camp. But at least the situation at work is almost back to normal. Supposed to meet someone on wednesday but because of the un-importance of the meeting, it was cancelled. I wonder when will there be another one. Met up with Brian(wassup dawg) on friday because he happen to book out early that day. Went to town(like there is no other place to go) for dinner and catch a movie. I was excited about the screening of the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Although i have not read the book before, i have heard about it and also watched the series which was a long time ago. Brian reluctantly agreed to watch. I know because he keeps talking about "Monster In-Law". Wassup with that man? A J.lo movie? Give me a break. After the two hour show, i thought it wasn't that bad. Brian, as expected, didn't like it at all and gave it a bad rating. At that point of time, i thought the movie was alright but after reading several reviews about it, i realised that the movie was a disappointment. And i really think so too. But somehow, i get a feeling that there was some sort of a message in the movie. Don't bother because i'm still trying to figure that out. Hmmm....... The weather recently has been depressingly bad la. [Bad = super duper hot] Sometimes i wonder why some people can stand the heat and i would ask myself "is it just me or is it really the weather"? Finally it rained this evening when i was getting ready to go for a jog. Dammit...... Having talked about the how bad the weather is, i went to Sentosa for a gathering with my secondary school mates. It has been long time since i met them. Haven't got the pics yet. Hope to post some of the pics here when i have it. After that went to town for dinner and just chill out. It was nice to finally see them again. Had junk food throughout the week. Crapz. This has got to stop. No more junk food for me. Hey, at least until i'm satisfied with my body. Having said that, i think i need to put on some weight. [President Thomas Whitmore: Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!" We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!]
