Heroes

Just watched the pilot episode of the new nbc tv series "Heroes". And i love it. Since "Lost" is over for now(waiting for the 3rd season, woohoo), i got another show to watch. For those who loved x-men, you will love this show. I recommend everyone to watch the first episode. The 2nd episode will only premiere on the 2nd Oct. Ed, think you will like it too =) I'm watching another tv series also lar, "Prison Break" and its good also lor.

Friendster

Was going through my friendster just now and i'm quite saddened by the fact that not much girls will send me a msg to get to know me or wat. Guys got leh knn. Maybe they think i'm gay but couldn't be what. Think my bros can attest to that. Then i go see my friend's friends profile and also look in the friends list. Some of the girls are hot sia but how come i don't have hot girl friends? Got few lar but too bad, not close. Got a call from my bro ks just now when i was about the break fast. Spoke to him for a while and for the first time i hear the other side of him sia. Guess he wanted to take it out of his chest. Finance

Talked to ed yesterday about keeping it cool on the money front. The one thing i like about ed is his discipline when it comes to spending. He knows when to spend and save. Think i have to be more discipline when it comes to this. That is why i need my bros help when it comes to this. Well, you guys know how easy i can be influenced haha. So, this means i need to start now so that i have enough(or more than enough, right ed?) to keep me through the year.

Fitness First

Met up with ed on saturday. Brian and ks got something on. Went to Fitness First. We were both impressed with the club on the whole. And unlike California Fitness, Fitness First has 450 clubs worldwide. And the one thing we like about it, it is not packed like California Fitness. There is crowd control also so that is a plus. There is also a swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. With the membership, there is no limitations to what you can or cannot do. And there will also be a club at ang mo kio and buona vista sia. Good for all of us. Definitely one for us to seriously consider. Once everyone is financially organised and stable aight. And one more thing i like, the motto: A strong mind starts with a fit body.

Family

Had a gathering last night at my grandma's place. It has been a while since i last saw my relatives, cousins, nieces and newphews. Well, most of them have grown up and some are taller than me lor. Good food, good time all around. And seeing that i am one of the oldest children there, i spoke to some of my cousins, asking them about their academics and what not. Understandably, some of them were shy to talk lar but its ok lar as long as they who i am that's fine for me. I mean, we're family. Think it's important to keep relations strong and alive. To me i think it's important lar.

Shagged Wednesday

Came back home around 11.30pm last night and felt tired but the funny thing was, i managed to muster some energy to watch a movie haha. Well, that's not the point. The point is i teach for almost 7 straight hours at 3 places. Its not that i'm not used to it lar but come to think about it, it is stressing me out. Exams are coming and some of my students are just not serious enough. I do have faith in some of them and i'm trying my best to make sure the others don't falter along the way. What else can i do sia? I'm doing all i can, honestly. I'm continuing from my bro, Wayne(ks) left of. He also going through the same thing lar. Well, my only consolation is that i can bitch to him about it and understands it hahaha. But one thing i don't understand is, he likes to hang out in friday nights hahaha just kidding lar bro. Tell you what, after exams are over, i'll be free every friday lar so we can hang out more. Well, just to reiterate that point, i'll be meeting my bros this friday(tomorrow). Still thinking about where to hang out sia. The thing is on me lar cos i need to confirm with them my status on friday lar so bros, sorry. I'll try to confirm asap aight.... But for now, time to get ready for tuition. I like teaching what haha... P/S: If you guys were wondering what movie i watched last night --> Der Untergang, which means "Downfall" in German. A good solid movie for those who loves war movies although the movie doesn't focus on the war itself but the characters in it. Gd stuff. 8/10

Imagine if your sister marries someone who is 20 years older than her? Well, Siti Nurhaliza may not be your sister but she married a 47 year old hag married man. He was a married man before lar. Some people may say that love has no barrier or what but then, 20 years is too much leh. And what i heard is that, when Siti started out in her profession, the guy helped her financially. Starved from using the computer for almost two weeks, i finally got a new monitor. An lcd one somemore. Cost me ard 300 hundred bucks and i think its worth it lor.

Post surgery

I'm writing this, 3 days after my wisdom teeth surgery. Now my face is swelling up and i haven't brush my teeth for almost 4 days. And porridge is getting suckier each day. At this very minute, i'm thinking about eating burgers and fries.... This sucks....

What Singapore Idol?

Now, its no longer a singing competition liao. Everyone voting for contestants whether they can sing or not. Worse, those constestants who can't sing seem to be getting the highest number of votes than those who can. To me, only 3 person stands out. Mathilda, Hady and Jonathan. Seriously, if you ask any tom, dick and harry, they will tell you that these 3 are the most consistent and deserving contestants. Even Ken Lim said that. And you can't go wrong with what he says. So much disappointments liao. I think i'll be boycotting the show. Probably just hear it on the news or from my friends. What's the point of watching when you know who is going to be safe or not. Those who perform well and consistently are given the right not to feel safe from going home early. Unbelievable. To all voters, please vote those you think has the right quality(which is able to sing) to become an Idol, our Idol.

So has anyone heard about what is going on in the middle east? Or to be more precise, what is going on between Israel and Lebanon? Well, one thing for sure, people are dying everyday. All these bcos 2 Israel soldiers were kidnapped by a so-called terrorist organisation, "Hezbollah". Is it worth killing people bcos of these two soldiers? These stupid terrorists also one kind. Kill innocent people for no apparent reason and they think they will go heaven if they did. And seriously, that is what they are taught there. Worse still, its the teaching of Islam. Where got such thing? Are the Islamic teachings here are all about killing and going to heaven for doing such atrocities? Where got you tell me....stupid... And what is US doing about it? Nothing lar as usual. One reason, there is nothing in Lebanon. Let say there is oil in Lebanon like Kuwait, i think US would stop Israel from attacking. Confirm, wanna bet? Ambling along

I'm on antibiotics right now to kill the infection on my under arm. If everything goes well, then i don't have to go for the surgery. So for now, i'll be going for my wisdom tooth(all 4 btw) surgery on the 15th. Now, say the antibiotic finally works, then i don't have to undergo the surgery but i have to go back camp for another 13 days. Hmm..... When i think about it, its not too bad. Cos i don't have to tahan all the pain of going through the surgery cos i went through it once last year and it wasn't all haha hehe.

Go study lar

I don't understand why most teenagers nowadays are not motivated to do well in their studies. I'm teaching 3 secondary kids and they lack motivation. Totally. Well, good news for them, i'm their tuition teacher. And also, i see teenagers hanging out everyday after school instead of going back home to do their homework. I don't understand the point of hanging out when you're like only 13 or 14. Even 'N' and 'O' students are doing the same thing. Go back and prepare for your exam!! After the exams, you got all the time in the world to hang out. I keep telling my students that. Why worry about not enjoying life now? Wouldn't it be good if you're good looking and smart(or intelligent)? Not everyone can be so lucky. Usually those intelligent people are ugly not good looking while those who are good looking aren't that smart. Well of course and luckily there are exceptions. Word of advice to teenagers(you know i'm talking to you), take a good look at yourself(or your life) and decide whether you want beauty without brains or what. Just don't regret at what you choose and trust me, if you choose the right one, you won't regret.

Chicken out

Due to my medical problem(not serious, no worries), i can't eat chicken, eggs and any seafood(except fish) for a month and i have to stick to eating vegetables, red meat and fruits. It has been only 4 days. Still got 26 days to go. I know i can do it.

A sinking ship

All sorts of things are happening now that i'm getting ever more closer to my ord date. Can't wait for that. But in the meantime, there are few problems that needs to be resolve. Firstly is my health issue, which is getting way way overboard, especially with all the physios, medical and dental appointments and not to mention falling sick too often. And the second issue is my work commitments. Now, the thing is my surgery(i may need to go for 2 surgeries) may clashed with the LRI preparation period. The surgery is scheduled next month. If i go ahead with it, i will leave my understudy without much of a help. Honestly speaking, the place is going down. I hope i'm wrong cos if i were to leave before LRI, meaning the LRI preparation will not be complete and that everything is just going to self-destruct. I'm not the kind of guy who leaves his resposibility to another person but if time calls for it, then i guess i have to.

Sick

Had been sick since tuesday. Had a viral infection, high fever and kept vomiting. Finally today, felt slightly better but still not 100%. Been eating medicine so much that i don't have much appetite to eat anything. Hopefully can start the new week on a healthier note. And thank god the world cup is over!!

It was just another day for me. Worse, had this irritating sore throat and feeling slightly feverish(still having it now). Just didn't feel like celebrating or what but when i got some sms and a surprising phone call from Komal, it took away the negative feelings i had and made me feel better in fact. Thanks guys, appreciate it. Will be having a belated party or gathering at the end of the month probably. So guys, make yourselves free aight. I feel old sia =( Seven more years and i'll be 30, sheesh.....

Life is fragile

Went to visit my cousin at Changi Hospital after i heard that he got into a motorcycle accident on thursday. From what i've heard, he broke his back bone and had major cuts on his face. But after seeing him yesterday in the ICU, it was just too hard to take. I couldn't control my emotions. Even now, when i'm typing out this, my tears are rolling down my cheeks. His battered image keep appearing before me and i can't control my tears. The doctor said that the chances of him being normal again is 2%. Most likely his lower body will be paralyse. And he still doesn't know this. All of us are not going to take away his spirit to be normal again. To see your loved ones in such conditions is heartbreaking and hard to take. And the fact that he is my closest cousin. Eversince we were small, always had something to share. My only regret was that, i hadn't seen him for two years. After yesterday, i have a different perspective to life. You can never take your life for granted. It is your only life. You have only one chance to live. And don't take the love given to you for granted. Always remember that in this life, anything can happen, be it good or bad cos life is too fragile to be ignored. The Last Stand

Watched X-men: The Last Stand last Saturday and it rocks lor. Contrary to what most X-men comic readers said, i think it was quite good for me or for my own standard. But got some twists, unbelievable twists by the way. But i would recommend everyone who had watched the first two installments to watch it. The only problem i had with the movie was the duration. Even the X-men 2 last 2 hours plus lor and you would expected X-men 3 to be longer. Oh ya, and wolverine cried twice in the movie haha. Da Vinci Code was quite disappointing by the way. Not as good as the book and i think the book was much more exciting than the movie lor. And i heard that they are planning to do a movie on 'Angels and Demons'. I think this would be much better. I hope *fingers crossed* Poseidon on the other end was turn out to be alright if you're looking for some action. When you're talking about good acting and good plot, then its not a good movie for you. To me, the graphics was good and the action was there so it was alright. No A-list actors/actresses in the movie though =S The Benchwarmers is a very lame movie but still funny lar. Still can have a laugh but once u leave the theatre, you'll forget bout it. That is how well the movie left an impression on me. Been watching movies almost every week sia. But what the heck. Are you gonna be my girl from the album Get Born by Jet

Paranoia

Been having this uncomfortable thing going on around my under-arm area. Had an operation a year ago to me remove a swollen lymph node on my under-arm. And now its back. For some of you guys, perhaps it may just be a lump but it is not. What i know is that there is an infection going on and that my body's immune system is doing its best to counter it. Met the specialist last week and he told me that most likely have to go for another operation. Funny thing was, when i saw him last week there wasn't any pain or swollen but one week later, this thing started. So i made an earlier appointment which is on the 17th of this month(two weeks time) to see the specialist again. Oh ya, the specialist did say that if the lymph node is affecting a nearby nerve, it might cause a mild paralyzation. And i was reading through the internet, some were saying about HIV lar, cancer lar. What the fuck. I'm feeling paranoid, i can tell you that right now. Polling day

This Saturday is Polling Day. So who will you vote for? Luckily for me, i don't have to vote. And so are the people of West Coast GRC, Jurong GRC and Hong Kah GRC. Looking at how things are shaping up, the opposition looks to be in this with a fight. But then again, the same thing was said last time but in the end, the PAP still won it, convincingly. This time, could it turn out to be different? 7 April was Nomination Day. Seven GRCs were uncontested, giving the People's Action Party 37 seats in Parliament. This meant that the PAP was not returned to power on Nomination Day. All nine contested SMCs are seeing straight fights as are the GRCs. So, what does this mean? Nothing much really. The PAP just needs a few more seats to form the government again. I got nothing against the PAP. In fact, i'm glad they were and are the government. Because of the them, we are where we are right now. But a few opposition in the parliament would not do any harm now would it? Some of the issues raised by the opposition are good ones where the government(or the PAP) should sit down and ponder about it. But some issues, like the upgrading of HDB flats and lifts are not that important per say. These upgradings are what the government must or should do. We don't have to ask for it to get it. And you know what, we even have to pay for it. In which the opposition said that the people should not pay for the upgrading which is true lar. Last night, i was watching Channelnews asia, and they showed some of the speakers from last night rallies. I must say that i'm disappointed with some of the speakers from the opposition. They can't speak well. And when you compare them to some of the PAP speakers, there is just no comparison. The PAP members can speak well and emphasize their point. I'm not saying that all the opposition can't speak well because some of them can really speak. But for the opposition to move on to the next level, they need good speakers and one who can move the people. So, i'm calling all voters to vote for who you think will bring a brighter future for you, me and everyone else.

PP Mania

"How much are you getting"? and "So what you planning to do with money"? These are the few frequently asked question by everyone above 21 nowadays. I'm sure most of you guys know about the progress package given by the government. Isn't that great? Of course it is. Now we all can get what we have always wanted to get. Ipod lar, new handphones lar, digi cam lar. Just to name a few. And for some, time to get loose and party. Siao ar. This money won't last forever so think before you spend. For me, if i was given this amount for money abt 3 years ago, i would have spend it in less than a month. Nowadays, i think the money can tahan for a while. But some people(and some of my friends) they can be very generous with their spending at times. I think we all must learn to save uo for rainy days. So my suggestion to everyone is to write a list of things you need to get and things you want to get. This is my list: Things i need- 1. A new set of facial products. 2. Necessary toiletries(shaver,nasal hair trimmers,sunblock etc) 3. A few pairs of boxers. 4. Body supplements/vitsmins. 5. A new bag. Things i want- 1. An Ipod Nano. 2. A digital camera. 3. A new handphone, Nokia 7370. Now, this is my short list of things i need and want to get. Firstly, I will get all those things that i need. For those things that i want, i will probably weigh the priority of each items. Which one do i want badly? Remember, try and save up for rainy days. Trust me, it'll pay off. Have a nice day. The next General Elections is coming up but no exact date has been set. This will be the first time i'm voting. Excited? Alrite lar. Nothing much to get excited about really. Its like serving National Service, bo pian one. But i rather vote than serve NS. But then again, ord is beckoning. So fuck it. I'm not really into politics lar so i won't talk much bout it. A jab on the ass

Got an injection of pain killers in the ass today. And it still hurts, as we speak. Went to NUH this morning. Woke up with a cramped back and that was it. Had to somehow make my way to NUH A&E instead of camp. Spend a total of 4 fucking hours there. I don't understand why when its my turn to report sick, alot of emergency cases walk into the clinic. But anyways, there was a first encounter of anal-ization for me. As we all know that i have this back problem (which thankfully was not serious) and so the doctor ask me to lie on the bed and turn sideways, with my berms down. He told me he was going to do some tests. He slip open my boxers and anal-led me with his fingers. CB......it fucking hurts man!!!! It was just to check my tail-bone and thankfully it was ok. But seriously, it hurts lar. Worse, it was a male doctor. Wasted, should have been a lady doctor sia. Word of advice for girls, don't have anal sex. It hurts. Guys, if you're lucky, good for you. Then later, come the jabbing part. Was told to take some pain killers and i thought they were pills. The nurse then told me that i would be jabbed on the butt. WTF. I was like,"Ok". "But why on the butt and not the arm?" She said,"Oh, because the concentration of the pain killer is very strong and a jab on the arm would be quite bad." Alrighty then. Too bad the nurse wasn't a hotty. One jab and my butt cheek became numb. The good thing to come out from all of these, my back pain lessen. K THANKS BYE.

Brokeback

Watched Brokeback Mountain on saturday with Sylvia and Ed. Ya ya, i know what you guys are going to say especially Brian. But seriously, it is a nice movie. Although it was abit draggy towards the end, it was somewhat original and i also felt the two main actors, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal gave a very good performance. Could you imagine both of them lip-locking one another? I couldn't believe it either. But i still don't understand the first time when they make out, all of a suddem somemore =S I think it's alright for guys to show their feelings to another guy but not through sexual means of course. ps: I'm not into brokebacking, FYI...

Saturdays

Have been going out on every Saturday for the past month. And you've guessed it. I've spend quite alot of unnecessary stuffs especially cab rides. And one advice to all clubbers, don't spend anything if you mood is way off. Yup, last night i went dbl O with my camp mates. Had a couple drinks and thought the night was going to be great although i was sweating like hell inside. Actually i was at the O bar but it doesn't look like a bar to me lor. It was super crowded and worse, got alot of sikhroks there sia. I heard that they were from the Cheeky Monkeys, which by the way has disappeared from the surface of this planet fortunately. Then i saw one girl(a sikhrok, a gd looking one i must add) who i made eye contact with. And she was damn nice lor. Eye contact is important in this kind of places. She was with another girl so i approached them and asked whether they were alone. Then you know what the friend said? "Our boyfriends are here." Like what the fuck. Then, that's it man. Acne cream

Been having this odd outbreaks on my face and the worse part, everyone is telling me that i have a pimple on my face as if i don't know like that. The only problem i have is, when there is a pimple on my face, it is quite visible because 1) my skin is quite smooth 2)i'm becoming fairer 3)some people are just jealous of my skin and if there is a pimple on my face, they would kindly point it out to me. Can anyone recommend any pimple cream? I don't care how much it cost as long as its good. Men's Expression is beckoning...

Running around

I have never been so busy all my life. Running from one place to another(not literally of course) and the worse part, taking cab at least once, almost everyday. I'm not saying that taking cab is a bad thing. My point is, i am so busy and rushing from one place to another that i have to take cab at times. I took more cabs this year than the previous 20 23 years of my life. ps: My blog is up and running again. The new domain will be put on hold for the time being =) Have a nice day.

It's over

Valentine day is over so get over it. Since when there is a Valentine's day since everyday can be a Valentine's day. And you know what, Valentine's day was set up by some corporate shit in order to sell overpriced flowers, overpriced chocolates and overpriced dinner set for couples. Anyways, met my secondary schoolmate when i was on my way back home. Its been awhile since i last saw her. In fact she stays around my area. Hope to see her soon again. And guess what, she like teaching kids too.

Fighting the demons

Haven't been blogging of late due to my busy working schedule. It's just work after work after work. I think some of you all know what i do nowadays especially after booking out from camp. Think i'm getting an organiser to make sure that myself in check and that my plans will work out. For the first time in my life, i'm finally gonna make good use of an organiser. Almost feel sick on thursday. Went to the gym with Alvin on wednesday and woke up the next day to a bad sore throat. Those kind where you know that a fever and flu is coming. That feeling sucks. But then, i fought against it. I was not going to succumb to the sickness. And so i fought. Friday, still got the sickly feeling. My whole body felt so weak and lethargic. And still i fought. Saturday morning, went to the gym with Alvin and work my ass off. Maybe i shouldn't have but i did and i felt great, surprisingly. Went back home, pop a few pills and slept. Because i had to go(see that i use the word 'had' Brian) to Liquid Room to celebrate Brian's B-day. And he is finally 23 everyone hahahahaha. Brian got wasted. Like totally man. That was the first time i see him puke. 4 times somemore. Should have taken pics hahaha and make him the laughing stock. I had a few drinks and this morning, i felt better than i did on thursday morning or even the last few days. Its only the first month of the new year and i'm almost burn out. What the fuck. Tuition

A conversation between a guy tutor and a parent via sms that is. Tutor: Hi, i saw your ad on eFair Classified and its says that you are looking for a tutor. Parent: Yes. That's right. What is your qualifications and experience? Tutor: Well, my highest qualification is (your highest qualification) and i've been giving tuition for the past few years. And all of them attain good results. Parent: Ok. That is good. Sounds like you are perfect for this job. Tutor: Haha. Thanks. I love teaching and teaching these students to excel in their studies makes it more challenging. That is what that motivates me. And speaking of motivation, i will not only teach but i motivate the students too. Parent: Wow. Impressive. Well, kids nowadays need some motivation to study too. Where do you stay by the way? Tutor: I stay around (your place). Parent: Even better. I think it would be convenient for you to come here then. Tutor: Ok. That is great i guess. Parent: And that's why we always prefer a female tutor. Tutor: *pengz*(upon receiving the sms) I don't understand why people prefer female tutors instead of guys. The only thing i can think of is that they are afraid that guy tutors might molest or rape their daughers or sons. So only guys can be accused of molesting is it? Ok, firstly i must stress that i'm not being sarcastic or offending the ladies =) I just don't understand the bias treatment towards guy tutors. But thank god for me, i manage to get some students, female students mind you. This of course after interviews with the parents. So, my message to all parents looking for tutors---> do an interview before you make up your fucking mind and assume all the wrong things. Didn't have the best of start to the new year. Lost a hundred bucks to a betting game and woke up to a bad sore throat. Stupid liverpool, should have score 1 more goal and i could have win the money. And the sore throat is probably due the drinks i had on new year's eve. And the situation at Esplanade, cannot make it lar. You could hardly breathe. No more Esplanade next year, or the year after that. Sheesh. Must find a good place to chill out with my friends for the next new year's eve. Brian look cool but c'mon dude, you don't wear like that on new year's eve. Worst part is, look at what i was wearing. Total contradiction lor. And don't forget the fag flip flops from New Urban Male. Brian has this thing against gays that sometimes, when he sees them he would go,"ppbbt, fags." Well, in truth, he's ok with them. I look cool too right. Some of you may ask,"Wassup with the glasses?" For all your info, i have perfect eyesight and the glasses are degree-less. I just wear them to look more cool and smart, can? Met up with Anthony yesterday. We went to Ikea because he wanted to get some stuffs. And you can see that he got himself the ikea shopping bag too.
Had a bad dinner and just chill out. Walk around Anchorpoint. And guess what, i found a Men's Expression outlet there haha. For some reason, Anthony became very curious about such female products. Wanted to hang out at someplace cool and in the end, it wasn't a good idea to go to Pasir Panjang Village. The place is dead people. Unless you happen to have a friend who stays around the area, don't go there. Alrite Brian, i'll call you next time. If i have money to buy over the place, i will and change it into the 2nd MS. I'm serious. Anthony enjoying a can of green tea with peach while i sat beside him with a bad sore throat =( In the end, we just sat at the opposite bus stop and chat for an hour plus. It was quite funny though. But whatever it is, avoid Pasir Panjang Village at all cost. PS: I'm sick, very sick. Didn't go to work. Could barely think and talk. What a way to start my year. Fuck.
